PVC wood grain film uses the natural colors and textures of woods such as oak, elm, ash, sapele, walnut, maple, pine, mahogany, and rosewood as its base material, printed with PVC, to create a high-end decorative film. It boasts natural colors, vibrant hues, rich patterns, and elegant styles, making it ideal for interior door, wardrobe, ceiling, and wall surface decoration. Furthermore, PVC decorative film offers advantages such as moisture resistance, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, easy cleaning, easy installation, and environmental friendliness.
PVC wood grain film uses polyvinyl chloride calendered film as its base film. Wood grain patterns are printed onto it using printing rollers, then laminated with a transparent film, and finally pressed with a wood-like "eye" texture to create the wood grain film. When applied to plastic, wood, or steel sheets, the wood grain film provides a realistic wood feel, achieving a truly lifelike effect. Wood grain patterns can be designed based on the annual ring patterns of different tree species. A printing roller is carved, and the film is printed using a multi-color printing machine to produce wood grain films reflecting various tree types. Therefore, PVC wood grain film is an excellent decorative film.
First, based on data from the Miaowu Wood Grain Film website, here are the application environment requirements for PVC wood grain decorative film:
Usage temperature range: 12°C - 38°C. Film application can be performed within this temperature range. (In particularly humid areas, the application surface needs to be dried first. If the surface is severely damp, avoid applying the film.)
When applying to irregularly shaped surfaces, a hot air blower can be used to increase the temperature of the wood grain film. If the temperature is too low, expansion and adhesion failure may occur.
When using a hot air blower, do not adjust it to the high-temperature setting. Excessive temperature will cause the wood grain decorative film to soften, making application very difficult.
When applying the film to irregularly shaped locations, some wood grain decorative film may exhibit whitening. Before applying the film, allow it to warm up to a low temperature using a hot air gun. During application, pull gently and avoid pressing with sharp objects to prevent damage.
