Wood grain film is a new type of decorative material made from high-molecular polymers (PVC) as raw materials, with the addition of various additives, through calendering, lamination, and wood grain printing. It can be laminated with substrates such as wood, plastic sheets, aluminum sheets, and iron sheets to create multi-purpose decorative materials, widely used in household appliances, audio equipment surface decoration, interior decoration, and the interior decoration of airplanes, ships, and trains.

In addition, it can also be used for billboards, etc. Its characteristics include realistic wood grain, completely imitating the wood grain of natural plants, achieving a "deceptive" effect. It can be laminated onto uneven substrates, solving the problem of large-area curved surfaces that is difficult to handle with ordinary printing techniques.

Wood grain film product colors: Product colors are mainly divided into six color systems: wood grain, metallic, stone, cotton, leather, and solid colors. Each color system contains hundreds of different texture colors. Taking wood grain as an example, the wood grain color system includes: paulownia, pine, sycamore, and wood patchwork patterns, etc. Textures include fine grain, solid wood rings, coarse grain, and flat grain, etc.

Wood grain film decorations are aesthetically pleasing, easy to apply, and can be completed in one go without the need for additional painting, saving labor and materials. However, because the surface pattern of the wood grain film must be smooth, free of scratches, scars, and impurities, and the rolling process must be flat, the product color must be consistent, and it must be wear-resistant, flame-retardant, aging-resistant, and colorfast, the process technology requirements are relatively high.
